Arch T. Cowell Merit Award
Dr. John Batteh, who recently joined Emmeskay from Ford Motor Company's Powertrain Research Department, was a recipient of the Arch T. Colwell Merit Award at the recent 2008 SAE Congress. The award, which recognizes "the authors of papers of outstanding technical or professional merit", was given for SAE paper 2006-01-1049 titled "Transient Fuel Modeling and Control for Cold Start Intake Cam Phasing".
