Sensors and Actuators

Model library of vehicle sensors and actuators

The sensors and actuators model library contains generic models of the sensors and actuators used in today’s automobile. Models are available as white box, grey box or black box models, which can be parameterized to simulate the behaviour of a specific sensor or actuator.

Models are currently available for several engine and vehicle accessories, energy storage devices, sensors and actuators for the engine. These models can be used to simulate the behavior of a conventional IC engine for control algorithm development and testing. These models can be run in real-time and hence are quite useful for HIL system implementation targeting ECU testing.
