Multi-Domain Model Examples

Physical modeling of complex systems requires models that include interactions across multiple engineering domains.  Leveraging experience in a variety of engineering disciplines and modeling formalisms, Emmeskay provides multi-domain plant models that include dynamics in the following domains:

Multi-domain physical models can be naturally realized using the acausal, connector-based approach in the Modelica® modeling language.  In addition, these models can be implemented in the MathWorks® suite of tools including Simulink®, SimScape®, SimMechanics®, SimDriveline®, and SimHydraulics®.
