MVDPlayer

Synchronization tool for multiple data streams

MVDPlayer Screenshot (1)

MVD Player is a data synchronization tool that lets you synchronize different streams of data and “play” them simultaneously. Typically this tool can be used for displaying various data collected during the test drive of a vehicle along with a video display of the driver’s view and the position of the vehicle on a map. The tool facilitates better understanding and interpretation of the data and is provided with interfaces so that it can be easily integrated into other applications.

Features

  • Easy to use configuration setup to specify the sources for various data streams
  • Pause, rewind, fast forward or play at specified speeds
  • Move to specified frame or time instant
  • Can be integrated into other applications

Customer Benefits

During vehicle on-road tests, a variety of data is captured and is played back in the laboratory. Quite often, a better understanding and interpretation of the data is possible if the location of the vehicle on the road and the driver’s view is simultaneously viewed along with the captured data.

This tool makes it possible through synchronizing the vehicle position on software such as Microsoft MapPoint®, driver’s view on video player software such as Real Player and MATLAB® plots of the data.
