In order to ensure that every part of the controller code has been tested, it is necessary to derive an appropriate set of input conditions to fully exercise the code.  Failure to do so can lead to hidden bugs in the code.  Deciding on the set of test cases to simulate can be both time consuming and difficult.  Emmeskay has extensive experience in automated test case generation and has developed a methodology and tools for improved code coverage.
